Our Roots

Planted by hand in Machias, New York

We are Debbie and Doron Feldman. As first-generation farmers, these rolling Machias hills have been cultivated to create a quiet, uncommercialized space where highbush blueberries grow slow, sweet, and heavy on the branch. Together with our great friends, Cheryl and Dan, we partnered in this venture to bring you the best blueberries around. We have 5 different varieties, and you are welcome to pick them all.

The Founders

First generation growers

When we first stood on this sprawling 154-acre homestead, we saw more than wild brush. We envisioned a working farm where families could slow down, harvest bucket-by-bucket, and feel a genuine connection to the land.

Every blueberry bush was planted by hand. Today, we keep the grass freshly cut and the rows quiet so you can enjoy an unhurried picking afternoon under the wide Western New York sky.

Plan your summer visit

Our picking season is short and sweet, running from July through August. Read our complete guide to plan your afternoon in the patch and see what to bring.
